The Raiders football team of North Forsyth High School in Cumming, Georgia, is a team to watch and remember. This high school has one of the best football programs around, and in the last eleven years the team has put together quite a package of past successes and records. In the 2008 season, in the game against Chattahoochie, the Raiders gained an amazing two hundred and fifty five yards, and this is not the only football school record that the North Forsyth High School can boast of and be proud about. The football team has done very well in the last decade, and part of the credit belongs to the top notch coaches and training staff at the school. The players are given all of the tools and support that they need to play the game of football and win. Strength training and conditioning are an important aspect of football, and at this high school these are emphasized to prevent injury and make the players able to play the game much better. There are many skilled and talented players on the Raiders football team, and in the 2008 season several of the senior players signed letters of intent with colleges to play college ball.

North Forsyth High School also offers the football players and team unconditional support. A new electronic Football Scoreboard 3270 was installed on the football field to make it more inviting to the sports fans, students, and players, and this has had a number of other benefits as well. More visitors come to the games to watch the Raiders play and cheer them on, and the school has seen more revenue generated from the events. This is revenue that can be used for other improvements or additions for the school or football program as well. There are a lot of high schools and colleges which are adding new scoreboards, or making other improvements, to draw in more sports fans while adding to the attraction and appeal of visiting the school for football. In the 2000 season, the Raiders had twenty four first downs against Forsyth Central. The 2007 season for the team was one for passes, with twenty eight of them attempted during the game against North Gwinnet alone. This was one of the seasons that the Raiders completed twelve passes in a single game, and that was when they played against Berkmar. This feat was also accomplished in the 2002 season when the team played against Chamblee. During the last twelve seasons, the Raiders football team has shown that they are excellent when it comes to the game of football. New scoreboards and other improvements can help raise the team spirit, and encourage the players to play their best, but when it comes to North Forsyth High School, the biggest attraction of all is the football team and watching the games for most sports fans. A new scoreboard and modern facilities will make the school a better place to watch the Raiders play, and this will bring in sports fans in larger numbers, and from further away. This team has shown in the past that they have the potential to go all the way next season, and if it happens the sports fans will not be surprised.
