Baseball Cheerleading

It’s too bad you can’t pick cheerleaders as part of your fantasy baseball strategies although when would you have time to actually research player stats
Cheerleaders in baseball haven’t caught on in the United States as it has in other countries
Mexican baseball cheerleaders have been quite popular
Other countries like the Dominican Republic, Japan, and Korea also use some form of baseball cheerleading
Major League baseball teams have experimented with baseball cheerleading and while some have been dismal failures, it’s growing on fans in some stadiums

Major League Catchers

Similar to the punter in National Football League they are often thought of as lesser stock than the other players and yet, of course, they are always in demand

All star catchers are some of the most famous players in history and, ironically, often end up being the team leader in spite of their second-class perception

Baseball Fantasy Camps

Sending your children to baseball fantasy camps not only puts the fun back into the game, it teaches them life long skills
And not just skills that are useful on the field but off the field as well
A kid’s baseball camp will allow your child to meet new friends that share their enthusiasm for the game
You can choose a youth baseball camp that focuses entirely on the sport or opt for one that includes additional activities for your child to enjoy
A spring baseball camp may just be the edge your child needs to be successful during the regular season

How Basketball has Changed

There are many ways to gauge the changes in baseball throughout its over 130 years professional existence.
Obviously, from the earliest days to today’s modern game there have been many baseball rule changes but baseball changes extend way beyond just matters related to sport - Baseball has grown up and transformed as much as the United States has during the league’s existence.

The 2009 New York Yankees roster is arguably one of the best baseball teams in history.
Four of the top ten highest paid players are under contract with
the New York Yankees.
Even though they had the highest paid baseball players 2008 that didn’t make them one of the best baseball teams 2008.
The total salary paid to these ten men will top
$200 million in 2009.
