Many people think of a “dangerous” basketball player as a player who can score and keep on scoring. However, a real dangerous player is the one who can not only achieve great scoring statistics, but can also change the game with his all round ability to create chances for others, make cutting passes, block shots and lead his team through good and bad. With this in mind, in this basketball scoreboards feature I have collated who I consider to be the most dangerous players currently plying their trade in the NBA. Ray Allen The most exciting yet, the most underrated player of the Boston Celtics! Allen has incredible natural abilities and he been demonstrating them to his fans this season. Generally not discussed too much, this player is somewhat in the shadows. Ray Allen has never been in the highlight mainly because the Celtics have bigger names like Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett in the team. This could change though in the next season or two.

Derrick Rose
Who doesn’t know this man? What a player he is! At just 22 he has taken the Bulls to a level that nobody had ever imagined. He is very likely to win the MVP this year and he truly deserves it. He knows exactly when to pass and there is nothing that can stop him, not even FOUR defenders! His one drawback, although he is improving it, is his shooting ability.

Dwayne Wade
No it’s not LeBron! Dwayne Wade is the most dangerous player for the Miami Heat. If the Heat reaches the finals this year it will be too a large degree because of Wade. Unfortunately for the Heat, Wade is often injured, and if he gets injured at this crucial stage in the season, the Heat will suffer heavily. Opponents do not fear LeBron or Bosh like they fear Wade. This season he has really stolen the limelight from LeBron, is a strong contender for “best player in the league.”

Tony Parker
This was a tough decision because there are plenty other contenders for this basketball scoreboards fourth spot, such as Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili, but this guy is too talented to leave out of this list. With great speed and passing ability, Tony is THE most dangerous player in his team. He knows exactly when to pass and, most importantly, who to pass to and his opponents find it difficult to read his intentions. An amazing season for this guy and the other three in this list! Now let’s see if one of them can take their team to championship glory!
