Comeaux High School holds six records in the Lafayette shipping file, all dated between August 30 and October 11, 2021, covering football, baseball, and basketball in a span of roughly six weeks.

The first two lines, both dated August 30, 2021, carry the football sport code: an LX3050 and an LX3630. The LX3050 Play Clock Set is an accessory display that ships as a pair, so a single LX3050 record represents two play clock displays, not one scoreboard. The LX3630 is a football scoreboard. Both left our shipping dock on the same date.

The next four lines, all dated October 11, 2021, add baseball and basketball. Two carry the baseball sport code: an LX1250 and an LX1730. Two carry the basketball sport code: an LX2350 and an LX2655. All four arrived at our dock on the same October date.

The record is silent on what building or field each display went to, what it replaced, what it cost, or why the order came in two separate waves rather than one. Electro-Mech's shipping file records what was sold and shipped. A scoreboard that shipped in August or October 2021 could have gone up within days or sat in storage through the winter. I can speak to the ship dates; the record does not say anything else about the timeline or the destination within the campus.

Two additional lines appear under the name "O.Comeaux High School" in the same file, dated December 6, 2021: an LX2350 and an LX2655, both basketball. The file spells this buyer two ways, "Comeaux High School" and "O.Comeaux High School", and they appear to be the same buyer spelled two ways. I reproduce both spellings exactly as the record carries them. Whether these represent the same school, two related entities, or two separate campus addresses, the record does not confirm. What it shows is that two basketball scoreboard lines shipped under the O.Comeaux name in December 2021, months after the Comeaux High School orders from August and October.

If the data is correct that these represent the same buyer, the combined Comeaux / O.Comeaux cluster accounts for eight records in the Lafayette file, the largest apparent single-buyer cluster. The frame is heavy-duty extruded aluminum with rust-free all-aluminum construction. The face carries enamel paint with 3 mil vinyl accents, available in 18 standard colors through Electro-Mech.

Digit heights: Our spec sheet puts the score digits and period clock at 12 inches. All remaining displays, meaning the period indicator, team fouls for each team, player number and player foul, are 9 inches. Bonus and double-bonus indicators and possession arrows are also included on the face. The LX2655-ETN version adds Electronic Team Names, which allow the operator to display custom team text through the console.

Electrical requirements: The LX2655 draws 2.2 amps at 120 VAC, per the spec sheet for the base model. The -ETN variant carries a different amperage that buyers should confirm at the time of quote.

Viewing distance: I recommend 25 feet of viewing distance per inch of digit height for scoreboards, because the display carries captions alongside scores and the period clock, and captions must be legible as well as scores. At that benchmark, the LX2655's 12-inch score and clock digits support 300 feet of viewing distance. The 9-inch secondary digits support 225 feet. The sign industry generally uses 50 feet per inch for lighted characters, but I use the tighter 25-foot figure for scoreboards because readers need to resolve caption text, not only the numerals. Minimum outdoor digit height per Electro-Mech's own recommendations is 11 inches; the LX2655 is an indoor model and this rule applies to its outdoor counterparts.

The LX2655 manual lists the standard package as: single cabinet, console, patch cables, and mounting hardware for wall attachment. The same console covers basketball, volleyball, and wrestling without purchasing additional consoles, a practical consideration for multi-sport gymnasiums. What the LX1250 and LX2350 records show in Lafayette

The LX1250 appears 8 times in the Lafayette file, every single line paired with the baseball sport code, making it the second-most-recorded model in this city's data after the LX2655.

Those 8 LX1250 lines distribute across 4 organization entries and 5 venue-label lines.
