An eight acre baseball field just three miles from the school and a new field currently under construction. Pace Academy has some of the top coaching, sports medicine and training staff that encourage a positive attitude as a team member and academically. Pace takes great pride in the fact that everyone of their varsity coaches has either player, coached or both at a college level.
Under the care of Coach Charlie Owens, the Pace Academy baseball team won the Georgia Class A State Championship. They are proud to have trained and encouraged the major baseball league catcher and hometown member, Michael Barrett.
Parents, teachers and former students form the Pace Academy Booster Club to encourage the middle and varsity baseball teams. A Pace baseball game is a piece of true Americana. Everyone turns out for the team. There are Moms and Dads, younger and older siblings in the stands. In the background you can smell the wafting scent of the blooming flowers that are all over the Atlanta area. All of this is a sense of experience. You know that this is a time that will not be forgotten, but is a memory that will stay with you.
The concept of honor and team sportsmanship is not just a lesson to be taught, but a lifestyle. Pace Academy has succeeded in making sure that each student carries this attitude with them to whatever their future takes them to. Go Knights!
