3d scoreboards becoming reality

3d scoreboards at one point seemed very futuristic, but these scoreboards are starting to become a reality. One of the biggest and most talked about uses with these scoreboards so far happened in a professional football stadium. In December of 2009, the Dallas Cowboys decided to use a three dimensional scoreboard during a game to see how well this concept would play out. Although the experiment itself was not a huge success, because the 3d effects had to be turned off after only seven minutes. One of the problems with 3d scoreboards is that special glasses are still needed, and many sports fans do not want to wear the glasses, as shown by the Dallas Cowboy experiment. Many of the fans in the stands did not wear the glasses, and of those who did many suffered a small amount of nausea.
