The worst NBA team of the last decade by region.

The Worst Nba Team Of The Last Decade By Region.

east coast bad team of the decade: The New York Knicks in the 2007-08 season. A pitiful performance from a team which had a massive payroll. The average margin of loss was only 6.6 points per game, and they did win 23 games, which is not TOO bad a record. With the finances the team had, however, and the general ridiculousness surrounding the behavior of the coach and team as a whole, the Knicks are definitely the worst NBA team the east coast saw in the last decade.

Basketball scoreboards south coast bad team of the decade: The New Orleans Hornets in the 2004-05 season. Their best scorer was something called a “Lee Nailon,” and they ended up with a woeful 18 wins. Chris Anderson’s embarrassing 8 missed dunks during the All-Star break pretty much defines the 2004-05 season for the Hornets.

Basketball scoreboards middle of America bad team number 1 of the decade: The Denver Nuggets in the 2002-03 season. A terrible collection of players who probably did well to even win 17 games! The coach Jeff Bzdelik would probably be a great NBA coach if he was given the chance.

Basketball scoreboards middle of America bad team number 2 of the decade: The Atlanta Hawks in the 2004-05 season. The Hawks lost no less than 68 games at an average of 9.7 points, and very few teams have managed to achieve figures quite that impressive. Antoine Walkers shot 3 pointers all season with a poor 31.5 percent record. Tyronn Lue and Kenny Anderson somehow got 66 starts across the season. What an embarrassment for Atlanta fans!

Basketball scoreboards west coast bad team number 1 of the decade: The Los Angeles Clippers in the 1999-2000 season. This team was absolutely hopeless. It was last in defense and last in offence. To rub salt into the wounds, this was the season that the Lakers won number one of three consecutive titles. The Clippers lost 67 games by an average of 12 points. The players were ostracized throughout the season, as it started badly, worsened towards the middle of the season, and then went downhill from there.

Basketball scoreboards west coast bad team number 2 of the decade: The Seattle SuperSonics in the 2007-08 season. With their status in Seattle as the unofficial lame-duck, few people had many expectations of this awful team at the beginning of the season, and they still managed to underachieve. Kevin Durant put away more than 20 a game, but they suffered from having a terrible defense.

Basketball scoreboards northern bad team of the decade: The Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2002-2003 season. John Lucas had a great season of abject failure. Loss after loss and awful uniforms. This was one team Cleveland fans will not look upon with fondness.
