NBA Basketball Scoreboard

Basketball is one of the most popular sports in the country, and the NBA is well known for scoreboards showing double and even triple digit scores when talented and skilled teams play. The last few seasons for the Association have been very exciting, with fans clamoring for tickets and games that defied the norm. The 2009 season just ended on April fifteenth of 2009, and it was a great one. The Los Angeles Lakers and the Orlando Magic both made it to the 2009 NBA Finals, with the Lakers winning the championship with a final score of ninety nine to eighty six. The Cleveland Cavaliers made it to the Eastern championships before losing, and the Denver Nuggets did the same for the Western championship. The Chicago Bulls had the first draft pick for this season, and they made a good one when they choose the player who went on to win 2009 MVP Rookie of the Year. This was the very first season that the Oklahoma City Thunder team was present in the Association, instead of the Seattle Supersonics, because of the move made by the team.

Last season was just as exciting for the fans, with the scoreboard at the 2008 NBA Finals showing a final score of one hundred and thirty one points for the Boston Celtics and ninety two for the Los Angeles Lakers. The Eastern Conference playoffs for this basketball season included the Boston Celtics, Toronto Raptors, Orlando Magic, Washington Wizards, Atlanta Hawks, Philadelphia 76ers, Detroit Pistons, and Cleveland Cavaliers. The Utah Jazz, Denver Nuggets, Los Angeles Lakers, Phoenix Suns, New Orleans Hornets, San Antonio Spurs, Houston Rockets, and Dallas Mavericks were all seeded in the Western Conference playoffs. In the 2007 season, the Finals involved the San Antonio Spurs and the Cleveland Cavaliers, with the Spurs taking the championship. The Detroit Pistons and the Utah Jazz were named runner ups in their respective conferences. No matter which season in the NBA is examined, there is always plenty of great shots, and a scoreboard that quickly reaches two or three digits per team. Every team in the National Basketball Association has some excellent players, and any game is a pleasure to watch.

NBA basketball and Major League baseball are both sports which are followed by millions of fans around the world, and baseball has also seen excellent seasons in the past three years. The teams which have made it to the World Series for the last three years include the Boston Red Sox, the Philadelphia Phillies, the Colorado Rockies, The Detroit Tigers, the St. Louis Cardinals, and the Tampa Bay Rays. The 2008 season All Star Game was played at Yankee Stadium, and the 2008 started out in Japan between two American teams in an unusual twist. Fans watch the scoreboards just as avidly in baseball as they do in basketball, and all sports fans have a favorite team for each sport. In 2007, the first game of the season was between the New York Mets and the St. Louis Cardinals, and this took place in St. Louis, Missouri at Busch Stadium.
