Reversible Captions
Electro-Mech offers a wide variety of scoreboards that include features common to several sports. Whether you are playing football, basketball, hockey, soccer, lacrosse, or other field sports, you need to know the Time, the Period, and the Scores for Guest and Home. For facilities offering multiple sports on the same field, one scoreboard can serve many purposes.
When you want to track information that is unique to a particular sport — such as Ball, Strike, and Out Counts in baseball or Downs and Yards To Go in football — reversible captions can be a simple solution for adapting one scoreboard to your changing needs. Electro-Mech provides several scoreboards models that include reversible captions.
On outdoor scoreboards, reversible captions are held in place by rails mounted on the scoreboard face. You can swap sports by sliding the caption plates out, turning them over, and sliding them back in place.
For indoor scoreboards, the captions plates are fitted into tabs in the scoreboards face. The plates slide up so that you can turn them over and reveal their alternate text.
